At eyespeak, we believe all companies should have values they operate by. Values give you a higher metric for accountability, and create an even playing field for all employes. One of the main pillars of values in your company is USING them. Values are more than words printed on a wall. They should be woven into the DNA of your company.
Yesterday, Benj talked about Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg establishing the core values for Facebook. He talked about how the values laid out a clear, concise, contextual boundaries for the company. In true eyespeak fashion, let me play devils advocate. I LOVE that he laid out the values, but think most of them are glorified fluff. Let me take you through them with grading:
