I'm not naming any names. But I got another social networking site invitation today. And…yes…I signed up for it. I didn't sign up for it because I wanted to…I signed up for it because I felt like I needed to.

This isn't a long post and I don't have any answers…but I kind of feel like we are reaching a saturation point where there are too many social media sites to sustain. The use of API's to interface with each of the sites from one of the other sites is out of control to the point where I don't know what sites update which of my other sites anymore.

Am I the only one that thinks its time to separate the wheat from the chaff?
