Working in a field where creativity is at a premium and creative ideas are something that people are hired for having but then fired for later not, there seems to be a lot of weight placed on the shoulders of those within this field. Three years ago, Elizabeth Gilbert, writer of the best seller “Eat, Pray, Love,” spoke at TED about this very issue. Facing the world after her latest book became an overnight sensation, she wondered if her best was behind her. But, then something happened, Elizabeth realized that all she was responsible for was simply “having the sheer human love and stubbornness to keep showing up.”
