The Slow Death of Not Understanding

Twice in the last week I've been in a food establishment and had a less-than-optimal experience. I'm not one who feels the need to call them out on twitter for being lame, but I will never go back. I will never recommend the place. I will not speak well of them if asked.

I was very convicted in both circumstances. I could provide very tangible feedback to the owner of where they were going severely wrong, but as consumers, we tend not to call people out on such issues. Why is that?

I picked a large university because I thought I wanted to teach. I had government money that would pay for my tuition as long as I stayed in-state with a great GPA. I chose the largest art school in the state that happened to be not that far from home.

Brainstorming with Synergy

Synergy is the idea that 1 + 1 = 3. Combining multiple good components creates a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. Creatives tend to agree with this process. We get lots of people in the room and think we can come up with an idea or concept that is better than if we were on our own or in a smaller group.

One of the main pillars of values in your company is USING them. Values are more than words printed on a wall. They should be woven into the DNA of your company.
